Rumors have already appeared on the network that Sony is working on a folding smartphone, and now Max J., a German insider, has shared some of the details of the device.
According to the source, the device is still in the testing stage. The prototype device has a design in the style of “Nautilus”. It has a 3220 mAh battery, a Qualcomm SM7250 processor, a flexible LG display and a camera with a 10x zoom.
In the final version of the device can install a top-end Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with a Qualcomm X50 modem, which is needed for 5G network operation. The novelty, perhaps, will enter the market with the name Xperia F and compete with the still not released Huawei Mate X and Samsung Galxy Fold .
When to expect
Sony will introduce a foldable smartphone at the end of this or early next year.
