The Chinese company Realme has announced the smartphones Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. Novelties are distinguished by a capacious battery, 48 megapixel camera and a sparing price.
The presented models are quite different in characteristics. The base Realme 5 is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS display with HD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The hardware base of the smartphone was the new SoC Snapdragon 665 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory. In a more advanced configuration, Realme 5 comes with 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive.
To ensure high autonomy for such a rather large device, the manufacturer supplied a 5000 mAh battery to it. As for cameras, the main module is represented by four sensors with a resolution of 12, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels. The front module has a resolution of 13 megapixels.
As stated above, Realme 5 Pro is very different from the base model. Here, a smaller diagonal display is installed – 6.3 inches with Full HD + resolution, IPS matrix. The smartphone, in principle, is more compact, thinner and lighter, since it has a lower battery capacity – 4035 mAh. The manufacturer decided to compensate for the difference by supporting fast charging VOOC power of 20 watts.
The device is based on the SoC Snapdragon 712 processor, 4 or 8 GB of RAM type LPDDR4X, as well as 64 or 128 GB of internal flash memory. One of the main features of Realme 5 Pro is Sony’s main 48 megapixel camera. The front module here received a resolution of 16 megapixels.
Smartphones are running Android 9.0 Pie operating system with proprietary firmware ColorOS 6. NFC is not supported in both models. The base Realme 5 can be bought for 140, 155 or 165 dollars, depending on the configuration. Realme 5 Pro will cost 195, 210 or 235 dollars.
