Honor showed its gamepad equipped with a built-in 400 mAh battery and can supply power to the smartphone

Honor introduced a controller for smartphones at gamescom 2019.

Not only for Honor

The Honor GamePad connects to the smartphone via USB-C, but works via Bluetooth. USB-C is designed to transfer energy from the phone to the controller or vice versa. The device is equipped with a built-in 400 mAh battery and can supply power to the smartphone when needed.

The buttons on the gamepad are few: the power button, joystick and D-pad. They can be customized, but basically it all depends on the game. The gadget will be sold in black with bright yellow buttons. Although the controller is designed for Honor phones, an adjustable clip is suitable for most USB-C devices.

The company has not yet announced the price of the device and has not specified when it will be available. But Honor representatives said that in Western Europe the gamepad will appear before the end of this year.
