Google Translate now translates via smartphone camera into more than 100 languages, including Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Thai and Vietnamese

Google has announced an update of the transfer function via the smartphone camera in the Google Translate application.

What is known

Previously, it was possible to translate only from English into several other languages, but now it is possible to translate into one of more than 100 languages, including Ukrainian. In addition, the developers of the company changed the interface of instant translations from the camera and added support for another 60 languages. For example, Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Thai and Vietnamese.

How it works

To use the function, you need to go to the Google Translate application, select languages, click on the Camera button and aim the smartphone on the text.
